Bush Getaway Cabin and Camping

This privately owned 20acre livestock and vegetable farm tucked away right on the Athi River Valley within Ol Donyo Sabuk offers unique Bush Getaway experiences. We are situated only 95 km from Nairobi, Kenya which is about 2hrs drive. The house is a three-bedroom natural stone Eco-friendly Cabin overlooking the Mighty Athi River (Kenya’s second largest river). Majestic hills, stunning sunrises and serene river viewing make the cabin a desirable option. It is easily accessible by any size vehicle. Public transport is however not available.

CABIN RENTAL

• The cabin has 2 queen size bedrooms, 1 twin-bed room and a sofa bed           and hence can sleep up to 8 guests comfortably.
• It is fully-equipped for self-catering. FOOD AND DRINKS ARE NOT PROVIDED. (Only upon early request)
• A chef or Kitchen hand can be provided at an extra charge upon prior arrangements.
• Wi-Fi, cable TV, an entertainment system, PlayStation, playing cards and board games are also available for kids and the young at heart. ENERGY USE SHOULD HOWEVER BE OBSERVED DUE TO THE ECO-FRIENDLY NATURE OF THE CABIN.
• The cabin can be rented out on either short or long term basis especially for those who require complete peace and serenity in their lives or work.

CAMPING GROUNDS     –    Maintained on either side of the cabin are two grass lawns overlooking the river that are used as camping grounds. For the adventurous who want a more natural feel, they can camp anywhere on the farm after consulting with management.

• You can book in advance for camping with our tents.
• Those with their own tents can camp on the farm grounds at a fee.
• Cooking equipment and cutlery can be arranged with management for a fee. FOOD AND DRINKS ARE NOT PROVIDED. (Only upon early request)

PRIVATE FUNCTIONS     –     The farm and cabin can also be used to host private functions and events.

• River Weddings, Corporate Getaways, School excursions, Video Shoots, Church Functions, Team Building, Bootcamps, Cooking festivals and Exclusive Parties just to mention, are a few of the things that we cater for on advance booking.
